Cole Classic swim success for Year 9 students

We would like to congratulate two of our Year 9 students Kimberley and Katelynn Doyle and their older sister Emily who won the top three places in the women's 1km Cole Classic swim on Sunday 3rd February.  The swimmers started at Shelly Beach and finished at the southern end of Manly Beach.  Kimberley and Emily finished first and second overall with Kimberley winning in an impressive time of 11 minutes 8 seconds.  In the 2km swim Emily was placed first and Kimberley came third.  We are extremely proud of the girls' achievement.  Almost $200,000 was raised for charity at the event and other participants included Olympic champions Susie O'Neill, Cate and Bronte Campbell.  Katelynn, Emily and Kimberley are pictured (L-R) - (photo courtesy of The Sydney Morning Herald)
