Australia Day Award for Ryan!

Congratulations to Ryan Bell in Year 8 who has just received a Northern Beaches Australia Day Award for Outstanding Community Service. Ryan has been raising money for the last 4 years for the children who live at the local Women and Children First Hostel (previously the Manly Warringah Women's Resource Centre) over Christmas. Ryan has developed logos, a Facebook page and flyers for the charity as well as organising quarterly drop offs and two garage sales each year. From the funds raised Ryan purchased thirty $50 gift cards which he delivered to the centre with a personally written Christmas card. We are very proud of Ryan's great initiative, hard work and community spirit. 2020 was a bit challenging but Ryan has found other ways to raise funds and now has a following that donate money each year.
