The VET Entertainment nationally recognised Certificate III in Live Production and Services is your backstage pass to the exciting world of live music and theater production.
Students will learn the skills required to work behind the scenes on audio, lighting, staging and vision systems at gigs, venues and theatres. Through a mix of theory and practical coursework, students will learn how to set up and operate audio and lighting equipment for school events and will be required to build 75 hours of work experience both in school and out in the professional industry.
This curriculum framework course is accredited for the HSC and provides students with a strong pathway to continue studying and enhance career opportunities within the entertainment industry. This course uses competency-based assessment tasks and is recommended for students with a keen interest in creative and performing arts, a hard working attitude and a positive approach to teamwork. Possible occupations after attaining the Certificate III in Live Production and Services could include Lighting Operator, Stage Technician, Audio Visual Operator and Assistant Stage Manager.
