State-of-the-Art facilities

At the beginning of 2026, The Forest High School will relocate to a brand new, purpose-built campus designed to enhance student learning and wellbeing. The new facilities include a modern theatre for music, dance, and drama performances; a fully equipped gymnasium for physical education and sporting events; and an all-weather playing surface that supports lessons, breaks, and competitive matches year-round. Classrooms will feature air-conditioning and interactive smartboards, fostering an environment that supports both teacher-led instruction and collaborative student engagement.

Our school community is enriched by a strong connection with our former students. Through our Trailblazer program, past students return as tutors, sharing their experience and knowledge with current learners. Many alumni have been inspired to pursue teaching careers and now contribute to our school as educators, embodying our commitment to nurturing future leaders who give back to the community.

Comprehensive pathways in academics, arts and sport

The Forest High School offers a well-rounded education with tailored pathways to support academic excellence, creativity, and athletic development. We provide extension courses designed for gifted and high potential students. Our vibrant creative arts program includes dance ensembles for Years 7-12, dance courses in multiple year levels, and a strong band program featuring symphonic wind and stage bands. Drama can also be studied and many of these students join our biennial school musical. Sport is a key focus, with a commitment to teamwork, training, and personal growth. The Forest Academy supports high-achieving athletes with specialised coaching sessions focused on skill development and mindset, ensuring students excel both on and off the field.
