Meile Strikes Gold!

Huge congratulations to Meile Alcazar, one of our Year 8 students, who has just competed in the Women's Artistic Gymnastics Border Challenge in Brisbane.

On the first day (team competition), Meile and her National Level 9 team representing NSW won the Gold Medal for the state. Meile was first place of all gymnasts competing at that level.

On the second day (individual competition), Meile won the Silver Medal (2nd place) overall. In individual apparatuses, Meile got a Gold Medal in bars (first place), a Bronze in beam (3rd), and 4th place in vault. We are all very proud of Meile's results.
