On Monday 2 September Year 8 showed great resilience in the strong winds at Long Reef beach and headland on their Coastal Landscapes excursion. They recorded wind speeds of 75km/h using anemometers, developed directional skills and made observations of the wave actions. They also learnt how the Northern Beaches Council are protecting our local beaches. Students will use this information to provide a report detailing their observations and providing recommendations about how the field study could be improved in the future.
